Mercury in Libra

The heart of this placement

Libra sets Mercury on a pair of scales. Any claim that enters your head automatically breeds its opposite: someone calls a mutual friend trash and your mind is already saying 'but to be fair, back then he...'. Before you take a position, you have built three arguments for the other side. Libra is ruled by Venus, so your language comes pre-lubricated: the same rejection, phrased by you, sends people away smiling, and when friends fall out, both sides bring the case to you, because each is certain you understand them. In meetings you rarely stake a claim first. You wait until every position is on the table, then deliver the one sentence that lets everyone climb down with dignity. Strengths

Negotiation and mediation pay you directly: labor disputes, customer complaints, cross-department turf wars, you can find the version both sides can swallow while the room still smells of gunpowder. Challenges

The price is that your own position keeps going missing: ten minutes staring at a menu, two job offers compared until the deadline, and when someone asks your opinion you answer with 'what do you think?'. The deeper signal: for the sake of harmony you sand the truth down until it has no edges, the other person assumes everything is fine, and the problem survives untouched. The scale can weigh every option in the room. It just keeps forgetting to put what you want on the tray.
